Nissan Metro Ice Challenge Rules:

The Nissan Metro Ice Challenge winner is the team with the best record of head-to-head match-ups at the end of the season. Standings will be determined by:

• 2 points for a win (regulation, overtime, shoot-out win).
• 1 point for an overtime loss.
• 0 points for regulation loss.

In the case of a tie at the end of the season:

• First tie-breaker is the team with the better head-to-head record.
• Second tie-breaker is the team with the most wins in the MIC.
• Third tie-breaker is the team with the highest NHL seed.
