    ESPN to Carry BNP Paribas Showdown Live From
    Madison Square Garden on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
     
    Maria Sharapova vs Caroline Wozniacki and Andy Roddick vs Roger Federer
     
    MSG Networks to Re-Broadcast Matches on March 16 & 18

     

     NEW YORK, N.Y. (February 27, 2012) – MSG Sports and StarGames announced today a comprehensive broadcast plan for the 2012 BNP Paribas Showdown that involves ESPN to broadcast the much anticipated matches live from Madison Square Garden on March 5 with Maria Sharapova playing Caroline Wozniacki and Roger Federer taking on Andy Roddick.
     
    Live coverage of the matches begins at 7 p.m. on ESPN3 domestically and on ESPN International to over 130 countries. A tape delayed broadcast of the event will air at 11:30 p.m. on ESPN2 featuring Chris Fowler, Mary Joe Fernandez and Patrick McEnroe.
     
    MSG Networks will re-broadcast the BNP Paribas Showdown, with Al Trautwig, John McEnroe and Katrina Adams handling the commentary beginning on March 16 at 8:00 p.m. on MSG Plus and again on March 18 at 10:00 p.m. on MSG.

    With the participation of Sharapova, Wozniacki, Federer and Roddick in 2012, the five-year run of the BNP Paribas Showdown has now included 14 players who have combined for 1,393 weeks at No. 1, 84 Grand Slam singles titles and 597 overall career titles.
