    New York, NY (November 4, 2013) –
MSG Network will telecast the 2013 Supporters’ Shield-winning New York Red Bulls’ 2013 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals home leg against the Houston Dynamo onWednesday, November 6 live at 8:00 p.m. Coverage of the match will start at 7:30 p.m. with a 30-minute pregame show and will continue immediately following its conclusion with a 30-minute postgame show.

Veteran broadcaster Steve Cangialosi will call the play-by-play alongside analyst and New York soccer legend, Shep Messing. MSG’s Red Bulls reporter Tina Cervasio will contribute from the sidelines.

"This Red Bull team is in position to make it to MLS Cup and to play for the championship at Red Bull Arena,” said Messing. “They are well balanced on both sides of the ball and have two players in Henry and Cahill who are game changers.”

Tickets for the Red Bulls’ playoff match are on sale now by calling 1.877.RBSOCCER or logging onto tickets.newyorkredbulls.com.

The Red Bulls hit the road yesterday in the first leg of the series and drew 2-2 against the Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium. In the conference semifinals, the team that scores the most goals in the two legs will advance to the Eastern Conference Final and will take on the winner of the Sporting Kansas City-New England Revolution series (New England leads 2-1 on aggregate).

Led by first-year head coach Mike Petke, the Red Bulls earned their first-ever Supporters’ Shield, given to the team with most regular season points each season. This year marks New York’s 10th playoff appearance in 11 seasons. Houston, the fourth seed in the east, defeated the fifth-seeded Montreal Impact, 3-0 on October 31 at BBVA Compass Stadium in its Knockout Round match to earn the right to face New York.

If New York were to advance, the first leg of the two-game Eastern Conference Final series would take place on the road on Saturday, November 9 at 2:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Network and Univision Deportes. The second match at Red Bull Arena would be on November 23 at 7:30 p.m. NBC Sports Network.
