Jonathan Coachman

"MSG, NY" Host and Reporter; Knicks Locker Room Reporter and Liberty Play-by-Play

Jonathan Coachman joined MSG in 2007 and currently serves as a host and reporter for the network's nightly sports and entertainment show "MSG, NY." In addition, Coachman is a reporter for New York Knicks telecasts and calls play-by-play for the New York Liberty on MSG.

In addition to his work on MSG, since 1999 Coachman has served as an on-air personality for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and starting in 2005, he has also worked as a play-by-play announcer and studio host for College Sports Television (CSTV).

Coachman began his broadcasting career in 1996 at KAKE-TV, the local ABC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas, as a weekend sports anchor. After spending two years in Wichita, he moved on to work in Kansas City at the local ABC affiliate, KMBC-TV. While there Coachman served as a sports reporter covering the Kansas City Chiefs, he worked alongside NFL Hall of Famer Len Dawson, who was a sports anchor at the time.

Coachman resides in Stamford, Connecticut with his wife Amy.
