The Transit Chapters follows athletes and events in the New York City area and beyond. Season Premiere July 4 at 5:30PM

New York, NY, July 2, 2010 – MSG Plus, in partnership with Red Bull North America, presents Season 3 of “The Transit Chapters” beginning this Sunday, July 4 at 5:30 PM with “Shaun White Profile”. Season 3 will feature 12 new half-hour episodes on Sundays throughout the summer and fall.

“The Transit Chapters” takes audiences from the confines of Madison Square Garden and travels throughout the New York City metro area (and occasionally beyond) to capture the most compelling emerging sports and cultural activities. The program features city based sports competitions, including athlete profiles, and musical events that speak to the rich heritage that makes NYC a diverse and creative melting pot.

Season 3 of The Transit Chapters will include the following episodes:

Shaun White Profile: July 4 – 5:30pm
A sneak peek into the secret training ground of snowboarding's biggest celebrity. This profile features Shaun’s preparation for Vancouver 2010, an Olympic wrap up, and a transition into his summer sports. Also, take a look at the secret half-pipe built for him to train on in Silverton, Colorado.

Red Bull BC One: July 11 – 5:30pm       
Watch the world’s biggest one-on-one B-boy battle (breakdancing) at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Hip Hop comes back to where it all started - New York City.

Bull Crashed Ice: July 19 – 5:30pm
Sharpen your blades, Red Bull Crashed Ice is back! A combination of hockey, downhill skiing and boardercross, Red Bull Crashed Ice returns to the historic district of Old Quebec.

Red Bull Big Tune: July 25 – 5:30pm
Music producers of all ages go head to head in this one of a kind event as they share the stage and play original compositions on a set of CDJs and a mixer. The NYC competition was held at the historic Highline Ballroom.

The Dumont Cup: Aug 1 – 5:30pm
An in-depth profile of East Coast Freeskiier, Simon Dumont, with scenes from the Dumont Cup; Simon’s own competition in his hometown of Bethel, Maine.

Red Bull Air Race: Aug 8 – 5:30pm
Go behind-the-scenes at the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in NYC’s Liberty State Park, which overlooks the Hudson River. The Red Bull Air Race features the world’s best race pilots in a motor sports competition that combines speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons, flying at speeds reaching 370 km/h (230 mph) while withstanding forces of up to 12G.

Austin Horse/ Edwin Dellarosa Profile: TBD
This episode profiles legendary NYC cyclist and courier Austin Horse, and groundbreaking BMX rider Edwin Delarosa.

Red Bull Manny Mania: TBD
Red Bull Manny Mania is an invitation only professional skateboard contest. The event returns to Coleman Park under the Manhattan Bridge in 2010, bringing a cross section of 16 top professional skateboarders from all over the world going head to head for $30,000 in prize money.

Ashley Fiolek Profile: TBD
An in-depth look at a 19-year old, deaf motocross racer who has captured more than just wins on the track.

Red Bull Art of Motion: TBD
International freestyle running comes to the streets of the east in this dynamic look at what goes into the sport of parkour.

Red Bull Line Up: TBD
The Transit Chapters hits the beach with surfers Carissa Moore and Maya Gabeira as they join up with local surfers to find the best hometown breaks from Jersey to Montauk.

Mt. Washington Hill Climb: TBD
Travis Pastrana attempts to break a world record on the famed Mt. Washington auto road in his Subaru Rally car.

Lindsey Vonn Profile: TBD
Olympian Lindsey Vonn checks out the new Red Bull Arena in New Jersey and talks about her experience at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, her plans for the future, and what it’s like to be America’s sweetheart on skis.
