MSG Features Knockout Labor Day Marathon
Network set to televise day-long boxing programming with "MSG's Labor Day Knock Outs!" Monday, September 7th beginning at 6:00 a.m.
New York, NY, Sept. 3, 2009 – Labor Day is a knockout with MSG. The network announced today its “MSG’s Labor Day Knock Outs!” programming schedule, a full day marathon of exciting boxing and fight programming that will run from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7th.
The day-long marathon consists of a variety of programming, from in-depth boxing documentaries to hometown hero, Ireland’s John Duddy’s most compelling fights at The Garden to episodes from the popular MSG series, “Fight Night Classics”. As an added bonus, “MSG’s Labor Day Knock Outs!” will include several of the New York Rangers most prolific squabbles on the ice, including “MSG Vault: Raucous Rangers” and “Fans’ Most Wanted: Broadway Bruisers.”

6:00 AM Mecca of Boxing
This documentary takes viewers through the unbelievable history of boxing at Madison Square Garden with a look back at the classic heavyweight championships, world title bouts and epic boxing matches held at the Garden since the late 1800s.
7:00 AM Orthodox Stance
Documentary that follows Dimitriy Salita, a Russian-born Orthodox Jewish boxer, during the rise of his professional career. Orthodox Stance is a portrait of seemingly incompatible cultures and characters working together to support Dmitriy's rare and remarkable devotion to both Orthodox Judaism and the pursuit of a professional boxing title.
