MSG's special presentation of the eight-episode acclaimed ESPN scripted mini-series "The Bronx is Burning" is presented with limited commercial interruption by CadillacTriState.com, and each episode is followed by MSG's original "Summer of '77" programming, featuring interviews with the athletes, celebrities and writers who saw firsthand the events of the tumultuous summer. Together, "The Bronx is Burning" and "Summer of '77" create one-hour of compelling programming revisiting the renowned summer of 1977.

Based on the bestselling novel, ESPN's "Bronx is Burning" is an eight-part miniseries jam-packed with gripping drama and excitement. In the summer of 1977, New York was a city in crisis. Terrorized by the Son of Sam serial killer, divided by a bitter mayor's race and devastated by rampant arson and looting following a paralyzing citywide blackout, the Big Apple found renewed hope and inspiration in the on-and-off field exploits of baseball's most storied franchise, the New York Yankees. Although deeply embroiled in an explosive three-way power struggle between owner George Steinbrenner (Oliver Platt), manager Billy Martin (John Turturro) and superstar slugger Reggie Jackson (Daniel Sanjata), the Yankees managed to overcome their personality clashes and capture their first World Series championship in 15 years and, in doing so, helped win the hearts of New Yorkers struggling to recover from the most tumultuous year in the city's history.

MSG's original "Summer of '77" content offers commentary and never-before-heard tales from this storied Yankees team and others that experienced this unique time in New York history. Reggie Jackson, as compelling and outspoken as ever, provides insight on his relationship with George Steinbrenner, Billy Martin and his teammates. And, Yankees greats Yogi Berra, Chris Chambliss, Bucky Dent, Ron Guidry, Fran Healy, Sparky Lyle, Graig Nettles, Willie Randolph, and Mickey Rivers, deliver the inside scoop on the mood in the dugout and inside the clubhouse. Fans will also hear from celebrities and writers such as Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Whoopi Goldberg, Luis Guzman, Henry Hecht, Steve Jacobson, Spike Lee, John Leguizamo, Steve Schirripa, and John Turturro. Each shares his or her memories of growing up in New York, the heat wave, the blackout, Studio 54, Son of Sam murders, and the Yankees as they journeyed to the World Series. On "The Game 365" Healy takes viewers into the lives of his guests as he discusses life, sports and the topics of the day, traditionally spending a day with each guest in their environment. Each half-hour show offers viewers a side of some of the most fascinating people in sports that is rarely on display.
