New York, NY, June 23, 2009 – MSG will cover the 2009 NBA Draft with the one-hour live "Knicks Draft Special" presented by Tri State Lincoln Mercury Dealers on Thursday, June 25 at midnight. The show will be telecast following the conclusion of the NBA Draft and offer a comprehensive look at the New York Knicks picks and highlights across the league, as well as interviews with Knicks Head Coach Mike D'Antoni, Knicks President of Basketball Operations Donnie Walsh, and the newest members of the team selected in the draft.
The "Knicks Draft Special" will feature MSG's lineup of NBA experts, including Mike Breen and Jon Rothstein in the MSG studio, Mike Crispino reporting from the draft at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Tina Cervasio at the MSG Training Center getting the reaction from the Knicks front office, and the show will be hosted by Al Trautwig. Special guest Bobby Gonzalez, Head Coach of the Seton Hall University men's basketball team, will join Trautwig, Breen and Rothstein in studio.
