Action Sports Return to MSG Plus With Season 2 Premiere of The Transit Chapters

The Transit Chapters follow athletes and sports in the NY area and beyond

New York, NY, October 1, 2009 – MSG Plus, in partnership with Red Bull North America presents season 2 of "The Transit Chapters" this fall on MSG Plus. The season premier airs Sunday, October 4th at 6:30 p.m.

Transit Chapters returns to MSG Plus to take viewers throughout New York City and beyond exploring compelling emerging sports outside of Madison Square Garden. This season focuses on sports including ice hockey and skateboarding, as well as surfing off the shores of Long Island, and snowboarding on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Profile pieces on NASCAR's rising star, Brian Vickers as well as world champion skier, Simon Dumont round out the season.

In February, MSG Plus telecast "Red Bull Snowscrapers," New York City's largest urban snowboard event. Won by Shayne Pospisil, that event featured 16 top professional snowboarders from around the globe, and they competed on a nine-story tall ramp at East River Park for a piece of a $100,000 purse.
