BY DAVID KOLB, MSG.COM -- This afternoon, the Sabres (21-51-9, 51 points) host their in-state rival, the Islanders (33-37-11, 77 points) in the third and deciding game of the season series. The Islanders enter today’s contest after defeating the New Jersey Devils, 3-2, in a shootout Friday. Meanwhile, the Sabres fell to the Boston Bruins, 4-1, on Saturday, extending their losing streak to six games. This game will mark the end of the season for both clubs, and each are looking for a win to end their respective campaigns on a high note.
