    Knicks Beat San Antonio For Second Time & End Spurs' Seven-Game Win Streak

    GAME RECAP:
    With a solid defensive effort and a well-balanced offensive attack, the Knicks beat one of the NBA's elite teams for the second time of the season on January 3 at The Garden. Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 23 points, J.R. Smith added 20 and Steve Novak pitched in with 15 as New York ended San Antonio’s seven-game winning streak with a 100-83 victory. The Spurs' big weapons were held in check as Tony Parker and Tim Duncan scored only 11 points each, and Manu Ginobili scored just eight.
