Scott Lasky

"MSG, NY" Reporter and "Inside the Rangers" Host

Scott Lasky joined MSG in 2006 as a reporter for the network's nightly daily sports and entertainment program "MSG, NY." He has served as a key entertainment reporter for the program, having interviewed high profile guests such as actors Billy Bob Thornton, Virginia Madsen, Jack Black, Molly Shannon, Steve Schirripa, Tom Arnold and Dane Cook, and musicians Macy Gray, Eddy Money, Bob Weir, Jack's Mannequin, Everclear, Brian Adams, Papa Roach, and Barenaked Ladies, among others. Additionally, Lasky serves as the host of Inside the Rangers, alongside Ragers radio analyst, Dave Maloney.

Lasky previously served as hosts of "The Jammys" on MSG, an original program featuring musical performances from the alternative awards show of the same name.

Lasky began his career in broadcasting at the local ABC-TV affiliate in Binghamton, NY as sports anchor, director, writer, and producer. During one evening's memorable newscast, with all the station's video cameras inoperable, he spontaneously drew stick figure sketches of the night's sports highlights.

In 1997, CBS Sports hired Lasky as a correspondent, one of the youngest in the network's history. In addition to covering NCAA football, downhill skiing, and gymnastics, he worked with Greg Gumbel and crew during the NCAA's Final Four. From CBS Sports, Lasky was tapped by the NFL to host their live studio production of "Sunday Ticket."

In July of 1999 Lasky began his foray in the entertainment industry, joining entertainment cable giant, E! Entertainment Television, where he co-hosted their new prime-time series "Search Party." In 2004, Lasky further expanded his entertainment resume, joining TBS as host of the networks new reality show "The Real Gilligan's Island" during the series run.

Lasky currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
