Radio City Music Hall is hosting The American Theatre Wing’s 72nd Annual Tony Awards® on Sunday, June 10, 2018. If you have a ticket for Broadway’s biggest night, here’s what you need to know to make the most of your experience.

2018 Tony Awards FAQs


A limited number of additional tickets are now available for the American Theatre Wing’s 72nd Annual Tony Awards. Buy tickets now through Ticketmaster, or call Ticketmaster at 1.800.745.3000. 

Tickets are priced at $631 or $431 each, including a $6 facility charge. There is a six (6) ticket limit per order. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.


We ask that guests travel from 5th Avenue and enter through the 51st Street entrance (North side of the building), or through the Main Lobby under the Radio City marquee on 6th Avenue.

Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and close at 7 p.m. Guests are required to be seated by 7 p.m. We highly recommend arriving early. Black tie only, please.

At the Tony Awards, concessions (including alcoholic beverages) are available for purchase until 6:45 p.m.

 Please be aware that it is the policy of The Madison Square Garden Company to require all guests who appear to be forty (40) years of age or younger to present a valid form of ID with proof of age in order to purchase alcoholic beverages at Madison Square Garden. Pursuant to applicable State law, we accept only the following forms of identification:

  • A valid driver’s license or non-driver identification card issued by the United States Government, a State Government, Commonwealth, Possession or Territory of the United States or a Provincial Government of Canada
  • A valid passport
  • A valid U.S. military ID


We’re all for you grabbing a bite to eat or a drink before making your way to Radio City Music Hall for the Tony Awards, however, any outside food and beverages (including cans and bottles) are not permitted inside.


For the 2018 Tony Awards, cameras of any kind will be prohibited. Cell phones are permitted.


Closed captioning for audience members at Radio City Music Hall will be available thanks to the GalaPro smartphone app, the official accessibility partner of the Tony Awards. You can download the app for free from the app store/Google play store by searching for “GalaPro.” Please download the app before coming to the venue. At the Tony Awards, open the GalaPro app and follow the prompts to receive closed captioning.

The following items are prohibited inside Radio City Music Hall:

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • Firearms
  • Laser pens
  • Oversized bags
  • Signs and banners
