The Tribeca Festival will bring the Let the Canary Sing World Premiere to the Beacon Theatre on June 14, including a performance by legendary Cyndi Lauper.
Alison Ellwood’s boisterous documentary is a big-hearted and joyous look at the life and career of music icon Cyndi Lauper. From her humble beginnings in Queens to her ascension in the ’80s music scene, Lauper has always advocated for others and been her irrepressible, spunky self. Directed by Alison Ellwood.
