Trevor Noah A Conversation: Into the Uncut Grass
About the Event
Overview
Trevor Noah A Conversation: Into the Uncut Grass will come to the Beacon Theatre on October 8.
Beloved stand-up comedian, former “The Daily Show” host, and author of the 2 million copy, #1 bestseller Born a Crime, Trevor Noah, is writing a new book for One World. The new book, titled Into the Uncut Grass, will publish in October.
Trevor’s new book is a gorgeously illustrated and moving modern fable for readers of all ages about forgiveness, acceptance, and the secret to solidarity. Evocative of allegories and fables from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to The Little Prince to The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse, the book will deliver the powerful wit and sneaky wisdom that Trevor is known for in every medium.
“Trevor proved in his first book that he is one of the most masterful storytellers of our time,” says Chris Jackson. “And for all of Born A Crime’s humor and brilliant pathos, readers were drawn just as much to Trevor’s warmth and powerfully articulated aphoristic wisdom. This new book offers that storytelling prowess in a compressed and crystallized new form, layered with intelligence, uncloying sweetness, and emotional power. This is a project that Trevor is passionate about-and whose message and lessons are both timeless and urgent. We couldn’t be more excited to be his publisher.”
“Few memories in my life bring me more joy than the first few books I read as a child,” says Trevor Noah. “Either with my mom or reading alone, those simple stories shaped so much of how I saw the world. I hope this story can bring a little bit of that same joy to readers of all ages.”
