MSG Sports and Chase Fight Food Insecurity
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, millions of New Yorkers are struggling to have enough food and rely on food shelters and food pantries to last throughout each week.
The New York Knicks, Rangers and MSG Sports are partnering with Chase to help fight against food insecurity within New York City. Through the Garden of Dreams Foundation, Chase and MSG Sports will donate over 37,000 meals throughout the month of January to help resource some of the most burdened New Yorkers.
The meals are being prepared by minority- owned and Chase Business Banking clients, including Al Horno Mexican Kitchen in Manhattan, The Door Restaurant in Queens, Mike’s Deli in The Bronx, and Vinateria in Harlem. US Food, a national foodservice distributor, will also provide thousands of nutritious food items to food pantries around the city.
Thirteen organizations will be served though these efforts, including WHEDco, Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, and SCO Family of Services. Check out the full list below.
