60th GRAMMY Awards FAQs
All guest entry and exits must come through the 7th Avenue entrance. Please arrive early.
Premiere Ceremony: Doors to the Premiere Ceremony at the Theater at Madison Square Garden open at 2:00PM, and the event begins at 3:00PM. There will be no entry to this event after 5:15PM. ALL EXITS ARE FINAL.
GRAMMY Awards: Doors to the 60th GRAMMY Awards open at 5:00PM, and the event begins at 7:30PM. We highly recommend arriving early. ALL EXITS ARE FINAL.
PRIVATE VEHICLES: Drop-off points are located on 7th Avenue, South of 31st street OR North of 33rd street, on the East side.

The box office will not be available at the 60th GRAMMY Awards. All patrons must have their tickets upon arrival at Madison Square Garden. There will be soft ticket checks at the corners of 7th Avenue in between 31st and 33rd street, before entering Madison Square Garden. All sidewalks touching Madison Square Garden will be closed to anyone without a ticket to the event. Be sure to have your tickets handy.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
At the 60th GRAMMY Awards, concessions (including alcoholic beverages) are available for purchase between 5:00PM and 7:15PM. You will not be able to access concessions from 7:15PM to 7:45PM. After 7:45PM only water will be available for purchase.
Please be aware that it is the policy of The Madison Square Garden Company to require all guests who appear to be forty (40) years of age or younger to present a valid form of ID with proof of age in order to purchase alcoholic beverages at Madison Square Garden. Pursuant to applicable State law, we accept only the following forms of identification:
- A valid driver’s license or non-driver identification card issued by the United States Government, a State Government, Commonwealth, Possession or Territory of the United States or a Provincial Government of Canada
- A valid passport
- A valid U.S. military ID
OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGES
We’re all for you grabbing a bite to eat or a drink before making your way to The Garden for the 60th GRAMMY Awards, however, any outside food and beverages (including cans and bottles) are not permitted inside.
For the 60th GRAMMY Awards, cameras of any kind will be prohibited. Cell phones are permitted.
The following items are prohibited:
- Outside food and beverage
- Laser pens
- Oversized bags
- Signs and banners

In compliance with New York City regulations, there is no smoking, including electronic cigarettes, permitted anywhere in Madison Square Garden. This policy is strictly enforced. Violation of this regulation is grounds for ejection.
