History of the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden

The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden is a versatile 5,600-seat venue that has hosted major events for more than 40 years. Some of the biggest names in live entertainment have played The Theater including The Who, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Radiohead, Neil Young, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kanye West, Sara Bareilles, Ellie Goulding, Van Morrison and Ricky Gervais. The Theater has also hosted a variety of sporting events, family shows and special events including: boxing and the NBA Draft; ELF The Musical, A Christmas Story, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Musical! and Sesame Street Live; and other special events such as The Daytime Emmys, tapings of Wheel of Fortune and auditions for America’s Got Talent.
